1About ParentBoost
ParentBoost is a UK-based service operated by ParentBoost Ltd, registered in England and Wales with company number 16004915. Our registered office is at 1a Tresillian Way, Walkford, Christchurch, England, BH23 5QP.
ParentBoost is a mobile-first platform designed for UK parents and carers. We bring together three core pillars in a single service:
- Curated family discounts: access to discounted gift cards across 100+ UK brands via our third-party discount provider, plus access to unique discounts via affiliate partnerships or discount codes
- Community: a peer-to-peer discussion space where parents and carers can connect, share experiences, and support one another
- Educational content: expert-led resources including specialist SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) content, clearly attributed to the relevant author or organisation
You can contact us at hello@parentboost.co.uk. We aim to respond to all enquiries within 5 working days.
2Eligibility and Jurisdiction
Our service is intended for permanent residents of the United Kingdom who are aged 18 or over. By using ParentBoost, you confirm that you meet these requirements. If you do not, you must not use our service.
ParentBoost Ltd controls and operates this service from England. These terms and any transaction made through our service are governed by English law. The English courts shall have jurisdiction over any legal proceedings arising from use of our service. If you are resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of those jurisdictions.
3Your Account
3.1 Registration
To access ParentBoost you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for keeping your account details up to date at all times.
3.2 Account Security
You must keep your login credentials confidential and must not share them with anyone else. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, you must notify us immediately at privacy@parentboost.co.uk.
3.3 Dormant Accounts
To keep your account active, you are required to log in at least once every six months. Accounts that remain inactive beyond this period may be disabled. Where possible we will notify you before taking any such action.
3.4 Deleting the App
Deleting the ParentBoost app from your device does not cancel your subscription or close your account. To cancel your subscription, you must do so via your account settings. To close your account entirely, please contact us at privacy@parentboost.co.uk.
3.5 Account Termination by Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we have reasonable grounds to believe you have breached these terms, engaged in fraudulent or abusive behaviour, or used our service in a way that is unlawful or harmful to others. Where possible we will give you advance notice and the opportunity to respond. In serious cases we may act immediately.

- Access to selected educational content only. Full content library is available to Premium subscribers.
4.2 Premium Subscription
Premium subscribers receive:

- Enhanced discount rates on selected brands
- Unlimited Community posting
- Access to all premium articles, including SEND resources as they are published
- Priority support

4.3 Billing and Renewal
Subscription payments are collected in advance via our payment processor at the start of each billing period: weekly, monthly or annually, depending on the plan you choose. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. We do not store your full card details.
4.4 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change our subscription prices. We will give you at least 30 days’ written notice before any price increase takes effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.
4.5 Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and you will retain Premium access until that date. We do not provide refunds for unused time within a billing period.
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, if you are a consumer you have the right to cancel your subscription within 14 days of first purchase and receive a full refund, provided you have not used any Premium features during that period. If you have already accessed Premium features, we may apply a proportionate charge for the period of use.
To use this right, email hello@parentboost.co.uk within 14 days of your first paid charge, from the email address on your account, saying that you want to cancel your subscription. You do not have to give a reason. We will confirm by email and refund any amount due to the payment method you used.
Gift cards are digital content supplied immediately. When you buy a gift card you expressly request immediate supply and acknowledge that, once the code has been delivered to you, your 14-day right to cancel under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 is lost. Accordingly, all gift card transactions are non-refundable once the code has been issued. Any purchases using affiliate links or discount codes provided by ParentBoost are bound by the terms and conditions of the relevant retailer or service.
5Discounts and Gift Card Services
5.1 How Our Discounts Work
ParentBoost provides access to discounted gift cards via our third-party discount provider. When you purchase a discounted gift card through our service, you pay a reduced rate for the gift card’s face value. The discount rate available to you depends on your subscription tier and the brand selected.
5.2 Brand Availability and Rates
Our discount catalogue currently includes 100+ UK brands. The availability of specific brands and discount rates may change at any time without prior notice, subject to our arrangements with our third-party provider and individual retailers.
5.3 Gift Card Fulfilment
Once payment for a gift card is completed, the digital code is made available to you via the app. Once a gift card purchase is completed, it cannot be cancelled, refunded, or exchanged unless the relevant retailer’s own terms specifically permit this. Please check individual brand terms before purchasing.
5.4 Third-Party Retailer Disclaimer
ParentBoost does not sell, manufacture, operate, or take responsibility for the goods or services provided by any third-party retailer in our catalogue. We are not responsible for:
- The value, expiry, or redemption of any third-party gift card
- Changes to a retailer’s gift card policies or terms and conditions
- Retailer insolvency or failure to honour gift cards
- Technical failures on the retailer’s own platform that affect gift card delivery or redemption
- Any dispute arising from your use of a retailer’s goods or services
Any dispute about a purchase made using a gift card should be directed to the relevant retailer in the first instance.
5.5 Not Financial Advice
Nothing on the ParentBoost service constitutes financial advice or a recommendation to make any particular purchase. You should exercise your own judgement before making any purchase through our service.
6Community
6.1 What the Community Is
The ParentBoost Community is a peer-to-peer space where parents and carers can connect, share experiences, and support one another. Content in the Community is posted by members of our community, not by ParentBoost, and should not be treated as professional advice of any kind.
6.2 Posting Limits
Free tier users may post up to 5 times per week. Premium subscribers have unlimited posting access.
6.3 Acceptable Use
By posting in the Community, you agree to:
- Post only content that is lawful, accurate, and respectful of others
- Not post content that is abusive, threatening, defamatory, discriminatory, or likely to cause offence
- Not share personally identifiable information about yourself, other adults, or children in public posts
- Not use the Community to promote products, services, or commercial interests without our prior written consent
- Respect the privacy and confidentiality of other community members at all times
6.4 Your Content
You retain ownership of the content you post to the Community. By posting, you grant ParentBoost Ltd a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display and make available that content within our service for as long as it remains posted. For posts in public topics (every topic except Health, SEND & EHCP and Behaviour), that includes our public website, where anyone can read them and search engines such as Google may show them under your username. Questions in Health, SEND & EHCP and Behaviour never appear on Google. Visitors who aren't members may see replies in full or only their first line. You can hide any of your own questions from Google with "Hide from Google" in the question's menu (see section 13 of our Privacy Policy).
Your posts show your username, never your real name. Choose a username you're comfortable being seen in public, and you can delete your posts at any time.
6.5 Moderation
We moderate the Community and reserve the right to remove any post, restrict a user’s posting access, or suspend an account where we believe these terms or our Community Guidelines have been breached. We are not liable for the accuracy, completeness, or lawfulness of any content posted by users.
